§ Mr. Sharpasked the Minister of National Insurance, why Mrs. G. H. Ellis, 16, Cardigan Avenue, Morley, who was eligible for a 26s. retirement pension as from 14th July, 1948, has only had this awarded as from 28th October, 1948; whether this was due to her not having retired; and whether, in view of the fact that she thought she had made a correct application for the pension at the proper time, he will now agree to pay it as from the earlier date.
§ Mr. SteeleI am making inquiries into the case and will write to my hon. Friend as soon as they have been completed.
