§ 60. Mr. G. Porterasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that seven coupons are being asked for coats supplied to children as young as twelve months of age; and is he prepared to review this matter with a view to remedying the anomaly.
§ Mr. BelcherCoupon rates for infants' overcoats are based on the average cloth content and the rate for a coat more than 14 inches long is seven coupons. A child of 12 months does not normally wear this type of garment, but if my hon. Friend will send me details of any particular case he has in mind, I will look into the matter.
