§ Sir I. Fraserasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will permit gifts of clothing received by the British Legion and other ex-Servicemen's organisations from the United States and the Dominions to be distributed free amongst needy cases without requiring the surrender of coupons.
§ Mr. BelcherCareful consideration has been given to this matter from time to time, but it is not felt that coupon-free distribution of bulk gifts of clothing by the various voluntary organisations can be permitted.
