asked the Postmaster-General how many days notice was given to the public before the price of airmail letters to the Forces overseas was increased from 1½d. to 6d.

Mr. Hobson

Ten clear days; in addition to which a fortnight's grace was allowed before letters which continued to be prepaid 1½d. were diverted to the surface mails.
