asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when the entry permit of Mrs. Henning, to come from the American Zone of Germany to this country, was issued; and why has there been delay in granting the visa at the British Passport Control Office in Berlin.

There has been no delay at the British Passport Control Office in Berlin. Mrs. Henning's application for a visa was not received there till last Friday, 14th November. As my hon. Friend knows, the visa will be granted if and when Mrs. Henning has secured the necessary permission to travel.
