§ 89. Major Bruceasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether he will reconsider the present ruling which debars certain naval ratings who were discharged under the reduction schemes of 1922, but subsequently re-entered, from counting their former service for pension.
Mr. DugdaleYes. It has been decided that any such ratings who were allowed to re-enter to complete time for pension can now reckon their service in full for pension, subject to the normal rules and to the repayment of the special gratuity paid on discharge.
