asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how many new buildings have been erected since September, 1945, at the R.N.A.S. Camp at Evanton; and what is the cost to his Department.

No new buildings have been erected since September, 1945, at the Royal Naval Air Station at Evanton.

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether the R.N.A.S. at Evanton is to be closed down.

Mr. Dugdale

The future of the Royal Naval Air Station at Evanton is under consideration, but meanwhile, as a measure of economy, it is to be reduced to a care and maintenance basis by 31st March next.
