§ Mr. Stokesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs why Doctor Dragojla Popovic, a doctor of medicine, was removed from the Displaced Persons Camp at Diepholz in Germany on 13th October, and where she is now.
§ Mr. BevinThis woman was in charge of a reformatory for political re-education under the quisling Nedic régime, and is one of those persons whose surrender has been demanded by the Yugoslav Government on the charge of collaboration. In 71W accordance with the agreement signed between His Majesty's Government and the Yugoslav Government at Bled on 8th September we are obliged to consider this charge. No decision has yet been reached. Dr. Popovic was moved from Diepholz to Paderborn on 13th October in order that the charges against her might be investigated, since this is not possible at Diepholz.
