asked the President of the Board of Trade when the supplementary payments under the Private Chattels Scheme will be made.

Mr. Belcher

The supplementary payments are being made as rapidly as possible. 240,000 have already been made, and I expect that the bulk of the remaining 110,000 will be made by the end of the year.
