HC Deb 10 November 1947 vol 444 c13W
102. Mr. Alpass

asked the Minister of Supply if he is aware of the shortage of five-prong forks; and if he will take steps to expedite their supply.

Mr. G. R. Strauss

The manufacture of these forks was prohibited during the war as an economy measure. They are now being manufactured on a small scale, but as the demand is limited and both labour and materials are short, it is not desirable to attempt to increase the supply.
