§ 23. Mr. Haireasked the Minister of Education if he is satisfied that the necessary equipment, furniture and textbooks have been provided for schools to enable them to take full advantage of the raised school-leaving age.
§ Mr. HardmanSteps have been taken to increase supplies of furniture, equipment and textbooks to meet the needs of the extra age group as they arise. There are bound to be some shortages at first but we are doing our best to help authorities to reduce them to a minimum.
