HC Deb 13 May 1947 vol 437 c145W
Mr. Callaghan

asked the Minister of Pensions if he will arrange immediately an appeal board to hear the case of Mr. Henry Hulim, 21, Sudcroft Street, Leckwith, Cardiff, late of the Merchant Navy, whose application has been adjourned six times, for various reasons not always the responsibility of his Department, since December, 1944.

Mr. J. Hynd

The case was sent to the Pensions Appeal Tribunal Office on 16th March, 1946, and none of the six adjournments in question was at the instance of my Department. I have, however, brought the hon. Member's request to the notice of the Tribunal Office, by whom the arrangements for the hearing of appeals are made.
