CrippsOut of a total of 380 industrial premises (6.25 million sq. ft. in area) requisitioned in North Staffordshire for war production and storage, only 28 premises of 700,000 sq, ft. are still held under requisition Of these, 16224W premises of 500,000 sq. ft. are being retained under storage with the consent of their owners, until they can be restarted in civil production; the balance, 200,000 sq. ft. is now being vacated and should be derequisitioned by June next.
