HC Deb 11 March 1947 vol 434 c160W
101 Mr. Jeger

asked the Secretary of State for War how many warrant officers are stationed at the R.A. Depot, Woolwich, awaiting posting; how long they have been there; and how long they must expect to remain inactive.

Mr. Bellenger

Two hundred and twenty-six warrant officers have been stationed at this depot for varying periods. Sixty-four of these are under orders for posting overseas, 123 will be posted to the recently re-formed Territorial Army within the next few weeks, and 24 are awaiting selection for future employment.
