§ 73. Mr. J. Lewisasked the Postmaster-General which broadcasting stations he has authorised for reception in this country for the purposes of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1904, in view of the fact that persons convicted of receiving signals from unauthorised broadcasting stations are subject to prosecution.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingI do not prescribe the individual broadcasting stations to which the public in this country may listen. The broadcasting receiving licence defines authorised broadcasting stations as stations for the time being authorised to conduct a broadcasting service pursuant to the International Radiocommunication Regulations. These stations are those operated by or under the authority of the governments of the countries in which they are respectively situated.
