§ Mr. F. Noel-Bakerasked the Minister of Transport whether he will call for a report on the section of the Great West Road opposite Henley's garage, in view of the number of recent accidents that have taken place there.
§ Mr. BarnesI find that during the past six months only two accidents involving personal injury have occurred on the section of the Great West Road to which my hon. Friend refers. In one case a pedal cyclist collided with a tree and in 5W the other a motor cyclist, who was a learner fell off his machine. I intend to super-elevate the bend in the road when other works contemplated near this point can be put in hand.
