§ 85. Mr. Charles Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what plans have been made by the Government of Kenya to initiate a system of State schools which will ultimately provide for children of all communities to be educated together.
Mr. Creech JonesI understand that in view of the present educational provision and other social arrangements no plans of the kind suggested have been contemplated.

Mr. Charles Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what allocation it is intended to make from the Kenya Development Fund for European, African, Indian and Arab education; how much per head of these different communities these figures represent; and what 164W amounts it is proposed to devote to education for these communities from other sources.
