Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for War if he will arrange for men serving overseas who are unable to take up a course of training because of the lack of facilities to return to this country in sufficient time to enable them to undergo such training before they are due for demobilisation.

§ Mr. BellengerAs there are no army colleges in South-East Asia, Japan, Malta, Gibraltar, or West Africa arrangements have already been made for selected men from these areas to be returned home in time to attend the one-month residential courses at army colleges in the United Kingdom before the closing date allotted for the release of their age and service group. Vacancies for these in East Africa are provided at the Middle East Army College.
