asked the Secretary of State for War if he will now make a further statement on the future of the Army Records in Edinburgh.

Numerous possibilities are being examined, including that suggested by my hon. Friend on 10th December, but the matter is one that has to be gone into most carefully and I regret, that I am not yet in a position to make a definite statement.
