§ 83. Sir J. Mellorasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give an assurance that applications by individual firms for licences under S.R. & O., 1946, No. 2087, will be dealt with by, his regional controllers upon the merits of each case and not decided generally by reference to the industry to which they belong.
§ Mr. BelcherThe decisions on such applications as are supported by the regional controllers of the various Departments are given by the fuel allocation committees who have instructions to take into account the merits of each case.
