§ 99. Mr. W. Shepherdasked the Minister of Fuel and Power what special instructions have been issued by the National Coal Board which may cause increased tonnage to be achieved as the result of less discrimination in screening.
§ Mr. ShinwellI am informed by the National Coal Board that they have not issued any particular instructions with regard to screening which would have the effect suggested. The present screening policy is designed to achieve the maximum quantity of saleable coal.
