HC Deb 27 February 1947 vol 433 c337W
137. Mr. J. Morrison

asked the Secretary of State for War how many Polish men in this country are not yet in the Resettlement Corps; and how many in the Resettlement Corps are classified as agricultural workers.

Mr. J. Freeman

There are 55,000 Poles in this country who are not in the Resettlement Corps. Of those in the Corps, I understand from my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and National Service, about 9,000 are classified as agricultural workers.
