Sites have been approved in seven areas—Motherwell, where building is in progress; Govan and Springburn, Glasgow; Cowdenbeath; Dundee; Edinburgh; Coatbridge. The Corporation is negotiating for the acquisition of a voluntary undertaking already employing severely disabled persons at Edinburgh. Search continues for suitable sites in a number of other areas.
