§ Mr. ShinwellThe total value of mining machinery and equipment bought by the Mining Industry of the United Kingdom in 1946 amounted to £11,175,000, of which £10,995,000 was expended in this country, £170,000 in the U.S.A. and 50,00o in Belgium.
