asked the Secretary of State for War how many Belgian troops are in the British zone in Germany; the number of relatives they have brought with them; and the total number of Germans evacuated from their homes in order to provide accommodation for these persons.

The total number of Belgian troops in the contingent is 30,834. They have brought 716 families, comprising 2,191 people. It is estimated that about 9,600 Germans have been evacuated to provide accommodation.
