asked the Minister of Labour the latest available figures of men and women industrially insured and unemployed in North Staffordshire, particulars for each town to be shown separately.

asked the Minister of Labour if he will give details separately of the number of industrially insured men and women in North Staffordshire who have been unemployed for more than six months, on a trade and industry basis.

The following table shows, for 9th December, 1946, the latest date for which figures are available, the numbers of insured persons on the registers of each employment exchange in North Staffordshire who had been continuously unemployed for more than six months:
