§ 95. Mr. Piratinasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that British troops made a forced entry into the headquarters of the Youths' Union and Women's Union at Bidor, on 8th October, 1946, and of the Perak Mining Workers' Union on 9th October, 1946; why these premises were requisitioned without warning; why British or British Indian troops were employed; and whether the unions' property, documents and records have since been returned.
