HC Deb 05 February 1947 vol 432 cc347-8W
Sir H. Morris-Jones

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that the inter-planning departmental committee on land acquisitions by the Services, as at present constituted, is precluded from examining the question except in regard to specific acreages in particular localities, he will move to set up a Select Committee of the House to review the position generally in the light of the needs of the Services and of those of civil life.

Mr. Arthur Greenwood

I have been asked to reply. I would refer the hon. Membe to the reply given to him on 28th November last and to the reply given to the hon. Member for West Middlesbrough (Mr. Cooper), on 2nd December last, to which I have nothing to add.
