Mr. J. Haire

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will increase the available supplies of women's raincoats and macintoshes, particularly in rural areas.

Mr. Belcher

The production of women's raincoats and macintoshes is being increased as rapidly as supplies of cloth permit, and I am not aware of any special difficulties in rural areas.
