HC Deb 04 February 1947 vol 432 c314W
71. Mr. J. Morrison

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the difficulty in obtaining long rubber boots, essential for workers in watercress beds; and what steps he is taking to alleviate this shortage.

Mr. Belcher

No, Sir; I have received only one complaint on this subject, and my evidence is that adequate supplies of suitable boots are available for workers in watercress beds.
