asked the Minister of Supply the cost of the recent office extension and equipment at C.I.E.M.E., Chislehurst; and for what purpose is the old office accommodation being used.

The cost of the extension was about £250. No new equipment has been provided. The former accommodation will be used for storage purposes.

asked the Minister of Supply how, many rate-fixers, clerks and shop foreman's assistants are now employed at the C.I.E.M.E., Foxberry, Chislehurst; and the number of workmen whose production they supervise.

One planner rate-fixer, 25 clerks and 17 assistant foremen are employed at C.I.E.M.E., "Fox-bury," Chislehurst. The number of workmen employed is 412.
