§ Mr. BevanYes, I have heard of this unhappy case. Accidents due to this cause are extremely rare. The injection of drugs has for years been an essential part of modern therapy, and I am advised that there is no reason to think that its discontinuance would be anything but a disadvantage, in the public interest. Nor is it my proper province to prevent doctors from using their free clinical judgment to the best of their professional ability.
