§ Mr. GaitskellInformation about new projects planned before nationalisation is contained in the Coalfield Regional Surveys, published at various dates in 1945 and 1946. The National Coal Board have announced that a number of new sinkings are now being planned but I have not yet received from them their programme of major developments under Section 3 (2) of the Coal Industry Nationalisation Act, 1946. This will no doubt cover information of the kind mentioned in the question.
