§ Mr. TomlinsonThe review by the Government of the national programme of capital investment does not involve any radical changes in the educational building programmes for 1947 and 1948. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of Circular 155 in which local education authorities were informed of this decision and given some guidance with regard to the rate at which the various items should be expected to proceed.
