§ 22. Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of Works what quantities of tables, chairs, blankets and beds are stored in R.A.F. hangars which were formerly used by the Forces and which could be used for civilian purposes.
§ Mr. KeyThe stock fluctuates, but the quantities are at present about 89,000 tables, 76,000 chairs, 215,000 blankets and 52,000 beds. All this furniture is required for re-issue either to Service or Civil Departments and is not available for disposal to the public.
