§ 95. Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the active part which Great Britain is playing in the movement for improving word-wide travel facilites, he will now make arrangements to abolish altogether all formalities with regard to travel between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. OliverSo far as concerns persons normally resident in Great Britain or Northern Ireland the only requirement is that they shall carry travel identity cards—which can be obtained without any fee—or passports, to enable them to be distinguished at sight from other passengers and passed through the control without delay.
