§ Mr. KeyThe staff of the Transport Division of this Ministry numbered 257 on 1st April, 1947. The estimated requirement for 1947–48 is a staff of 367. The estimated increase of 110 is made up of 47 technical and 63 clerical posts. The additional staff is needed to provide the transport services for a greatly expanded Government building programme for 1947–48, and to improve the arrangements for financial control
