HC Deb 21 April 1947 vol 436 cc58-9W
64. Mr. Thornton-Kemsley

asked the Minister of Works if he is aware that the entrance to Rotten Row in Hyde Park from Exihibition Road through Alexandra Gate is dangerous for riders and, particularly, children, having regard to the heavy motor car traffic going round the park, using the Kensington Road or turning into the park at this gate; and if he will arrange for Queen's Gate to be opened for equestrian traffic.

Mr. Key

I am aware of the difficulty and will have the gate opened for a trial period.
