asked the Minister of Food the prices now in force for eggs delivered to a packing station; the price paid by the retailer; and the price charged by retailers to registered customers and consumers in general.

The fixed price payable by packing stations for first quality eggs is 3s. 7d. per dozen. The price paid by retailers has been reduced from 1s 9¾d to 1s. 5¾d. per dozen on 20th April. The present maximum retail price to all customers, 2s. a dozen, is being reduced to 1s. 9d. from 27th April
