HC Deb 03 April 1947 vol 435 c358W
Sir E. Graham-Little

asked the Minister of Health how many specialists, general practitioners and dental surgeons he estimates will be required to implement the National Health Service Act, 1946, to provide a 24-hour medical service, domiciliary attendance by specialists, augmented staffs for the general and specialist hospitals and other fresh commitments.

Mr. Bevan

I regret that I am unable at this stage to make such an estimate.
