§ Mr. Battleyasked the Minister of Health if he will give in separate categories, the numbers of houses, business premises and factories which were destroyed, badly damaged and slightly damaged through enemy action in the borough of Wandsworth giving separate figures for the division of Clapham; how many houses have been restored and rebuilt; and if he will give the total number of new houses, both permanent and temporary, completed or in course of erection in the borough.
§ Mr. BevanThe following are the figures. I regret that I cannot give separate figures for the Parliamentary Division of Clapham.

Dwellings destroyed or damaged beyond repair 4,157 Dwellings seriously damaged but repairable 14,575 Dwellings slightly damaged 53,969 Total 72,701 (b) Repairs (information as at 21st October, 1946.) The number repaired by the local authority to a standard of reasonable comfort was 51,234.
