HC Deb 30 October 1946 vol 428 c92W
57. Mr. Edelman

asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware of the shortage of biscuits in Coventry; and what steps he is taking to increase the supply.

Mr. Strachey

I have made inquiries but there are no grounds for thinking that Coventry has not had its fair share of biscuits. They are in very short supply—of course, we shall increase our output of biscuits as soon as we have more of the necessary ingredients.
