§ 35. Mr. Nealasked the Minister of Fuel and Power how many collieries employing over 1,000 men and boys are not expected to have pithead baths installed before the year 1949.
§ Mr. ShinwellOf 229 collieries employing over 1,000 men and boys, 173 already have pithead baths, and the provisional building programme provides for a further 19 such collieries before 1949, leaving a balance of 37 still to be provided with baths.
