HC Deb 28 October 1946 vol 428 c49W
89. Mr. Skeffington

asked the Minister of Health what steps his Department have taken with the medical supply industries to see that they will be able to meet the increased demands for supplies which will arise when the new national health proposals become law.

Mr. Bevan

I am considering this matter in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Supply but no final arrangements can yet be made. Interdepartmental machinery is, however, already in existence for the examination of supply problems of special urgency.
