asked the Minister of Agriculture what percentage of ex-Service men and women are employed by his Department, including A.E.C.s., giving separate calculations for each six and distinguishing between those employed permanently and temporarily.

Of my Department's permanent staff, 68 per cent. of the men and 8 per cent. of the women are ex-Service. Similar figures are not available in regard to the Department's temporary staff or the staffs of county war agricultural executive committees.
