HC Deb 24 October 1946 vol 428 c14W
89. Mr. G. Williams

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when Polish soldiers who have decided to stay in this country will be able to bring their wives from Poland.

Mr. Oliver

It is open to the wives to apply to the British Passport Control Officer in Warsaw for visas for the journey to the United Kingdom when they are in a position to satisfy him that their husbands are here and that accommodation and maintenance are available for them in this country.
