HC Deb 24 October 1946 vol 428 cc13-4W
87. Mr. Wadsworth

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many aliens have been allowed entry into this country to take up domestic duties in hospitals since the beginning of the scheme to permit such entrants.

Mr. Oliver

The Home Office does not keep separate statistics of foreigners admitted to take up domestic duties in hospitals as distinct from other employment, for which permits may have been granted by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour.
