asked the Minister of Supply the present monthly production of electric cookers for household purposes; and the stocks held on Government orders for the direct housing programme at the last convenient date.

Mr. Wilmot

The present rate of production is between 13,000 and 14,000 cookers a month. With regard to the second part of the Question, I would refer the hon Member to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Works to the hon. and gallant Member for Eccleshall (Major Roberts) on 14th October.
