§ 113. Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of Works if he is aware that the electric light and power plant installed by the Air Ministry in 1943 at Donna Nook in Lincolnshire is standing idle; and if he will consider using this plant to provide electricity for the nearby villages.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI am advised that the plant as it stands would not be suitable for the purpose suggested. It is not required for use on the aerodrome itself and the local authority will have an opportunity to put forward any claim to the Ministry of Supply to whom it is about to be declared surplus and who will be responsible for its disposal.
