§ Mr. de FreitasWe shall shortly be explaining to the Service the effects of the new code on the pay of these officers. So far as retired pay is concerned, my statement in reply to the hon. and gallant Member's Question on 31st July describes the arrangements for regular airmen appointed to permanent commissions; we will be issuing revised instructions covering regular airmen appointed to emergency commissions.
